The BRISK SILVER (…S…) spark plug line has been specifically developed to meet the needs of engines powered by alternative fuels,
such as methane or LPG. In these areas of activity, a standard spark plug can show significant limitations in terms of duration,
due to the greater aggressiveness of these fuels, as well as the greater
temperature that is developed. Performance may also be affected due to misfires and erratic operation when cold.
The same car manufacturers today, on LPG/methane cars, mount
spark plugs specifically designed for environmentally friendly fuels, rather than standard spark plugs.

BRISK SILVER spark plugs use a central electrode in Silver, a material which, at its high
electrical and thermal conductivity combined with high resistance to corrosion.
The center electrode also features a smaller diameter than standard spark plugs, in order to concentrate
the area where the spark occurs: this helps it to self-clean during operation, preventing the formation of encrustations.

The ground electrode also has a particular shape,
more tapered and the gap – distance between the electrodes – is reduced compared to the standard.
The first measure goes in the direction of improving the flame front, as the area where it strikes
the spark is less covered by the ground electrode, which causes a better propagation of energy inside
of the combustion chamber. The second one instead allows to overcome the lower flammability of these fuels.
