The universal meter with a manual range for each measurement allows basic and advanced electrical measurements.
Additional protection against mechanical damage is the so-called holster - a rubber case that is pulled over the device's housing.

MEASUREMENT ACCURACY
An example of determining accuracy for AC voltage measurement.
Calculation for measurement result: 235V
The measurement accuracy of the 81783 meter for this range is: ± (1.2% + 5), resolution 1V
Measurement error calculation formula: (measurement result x 1.2%) + 5 x resolution
calculation: (235 x 1.2%) + 5 x 1 = 2.82 + 5 = 7.82V
The result taking into account the measurement error for the reading of 235V = 235 ± 7.82V *
result taking into account the measurement error for the indication of DC voltage measurement: 12V = 12 ± 0.08
result taking into account the measurement error for the indication of the alternating current intensity: 8A = 8 ± 0.26A *
The table with resolution and accuracy for a given measurement can be found in the user manual.
* The meter does not have the true RMS measurement function,
so the above result is the true RMS voltage of AC voltage only for the correct sine waveform.
